Lenses and Brushstrokes

Hey Everyone!

So lately I have been quite busy working on a new project called Lenses & Brushstrokes with the one and only See One. I have posted a short description of the show below:


"Lenses and Brushstrokes is the start of a movement. A collaborative unification between visual art, music, (ranging from hip hop, r n b and soul) and photography brought to you by See One and M. Claire Dennis, an artist and photographer weaving through out New York's underground sub-culture.

The striking photography of Claire Dennis utilizes the diverse environmental imagery each artist is most comfortable in, whether it be the studio, the street or all points in between. Drawing inspiration through sound See One visually captures each individual musical sound with his artistic skills mixed with Dennis' visual of the recording artists involved and mixes everything together for an interesting combination."

The show is opening in late November of 2009 in Tribeca. I will be posting some images, as well as, information about the show throughout the summer. As we get closer to the date I will be able to share alot more exciting details with you all!

Updates to begin....

I have been quite the busy bee lately working on various projects. I am finally settled back in Brooklyn after touring the country the past few months.

I have traveled throughout the Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, Kentucky and Colorado just to name a few! I have been loving every minute of running around, however, I am very excited to be home in good 'ole Williamsburg, Brooklyn!

I am going to start using this blog to update out-takes and pictures that have not been published. I will also use this to showcase what the full photograph looks like because ,as many of us know, the photographer has no say to how the image is published and my images are usually cropped.

My website is currently being re-designed, although it is still up and running, there are many new and exciting projects that will soon be added.

Below are a few FUN photographs I shot in Colorado May 2009 over Memorial Day Weekend.
